BIOGRAPHY

CEO and Founder of the circus dance theater companies Aerial Acrobatics (2007) and AcroEvents (2011) with headquarters in New York City and Madrid, Spain.

Marta develops her artistic work as a creative director, writer, producer, acrobatic choreographer and filmmaker.

Along her career, Marta has created, produced, directed and choreographed international shows for Wella, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Renault, Coca Cola, Nokia, Vodafone, TIM Italia, Telefónica, Mapfre, Cultivar, Ron Legendario, among many others, partnering with the special events department of Cirque du Soleil, Jack Morton Worldwide, Global Events and other great agencies and companies.

Marta collaborates as well with Mugaritz, ranked one of the top five best restaurants in the world, as creative & stage director and choreographer in creative and artistic projects, fusing art, nouvelle cuisine and entertainment.

In 2014, along with Teatro Circo Price, she writes, produces and directs the show “El Menor Espectáculo del Mundo” a contemporary circus show which combines theatrical texts and circus acts with live music. The show sold out all the tickets during its run.

The same year, Marta writes and directs “La Cena de los Malditos” a musical show that includes circus acts, musical numbers and theatrical scenes. The show was running in Madrid until March of 2016 at the Teatro Bodevil.

Marta collaborates with Festival FRINGE in its 2014 Madrid edition, as associated creative director and producer. Marta also has participated as judge and mentor in the festival Talent Madrid, promoted by Teatros del Canal.

In 2013 Marta writes, directs and produces the circus-theater show “The Hotel”, with great both critical and audience acclaim. The show is currently on tour and it has been shown in Madrid, Nuevo Apolo Theater, Mallorca Teatro Principal, Valencia Teatro Principal,  Rojas Theater in Toledo, Romea Theater in Murcia, Grand Theater of Elche and more.

In 2012 she does her first partnership with the multi award winning event agency Jack Morton World Wide, as associated producer and creative & stage director, in Wella’s ITVA 2012.

In 2011 she began collaborating with Cirque du Soleil in the special events departament as creative and artistic provider, aerial ambientation choreographer and producer.

In 2010 she created, produced, directed and choreographed the theatrical contemporary circus show “The Room”.

In 2009 she directed and choreographed the aerial acts of “Dreams”, the largest Spain’s show production ever made.

From 2008 she has produced, directed and choreographed acrobatic shows for Matinee Group’s largest events, such as “Matinee Winter Festival”, “Matinee Circuit Festival”, “Matinee at Amnesia Ibiza”.

Since 2007 she collaborates with Global Events, biggest event agency in Spain and 14th world wide, as producer, creative & stage director and choreographer for their world wide special events productions.

Her Background includes academic and practical formation as a creative and as well as a performer, in acrobatics, acting, dance, art & stage direction, directing actors, screen writting, stage writting, filmmaking and music production.
