Marta Gutiérrez starts her career as writer - director - producer in 2007.
Her first big project was to produce and direct the opening show for the Madrid Telefónica Arena inauguration in April of 2007. Since then, Marta has created, directed and produced more than a hundred visual, acrobatic, musical and circus shows, partnering with Cirque du Soleil, Jack Morton Worldwide, Global Events, American Express, among other national and international agencies. Joining forces with them, she has created shows for companies such as P&G, SAP, Big Data, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, Renault, Vodafone, Etisalat, Telefónica, TIM Italia, Coca-cola, Nokia, FC. Barcelona, Mapfre, Gas Natural, etc.
She collaborates with the restaurant Mugaritz, ranking for many years within the top ten of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List, holder of two Michelin stars. She creates special performances for some of their most exclusive events.
Marta frequently works with Madrid’s Council, with Teatro Español, Matadero, Teatro Circo Price and the Three Magic Kings Parade.
She co-produced and co-directs with Carlus Padrissa and La Fura dels Baus a special performance to celebrate the Bicentenary of the Prado Museum in Madrid. An interactive aerial theater show, performed on the facade of the building, with 3D Mapping projections and the app Kalliope Suite.
She started to write, produce and direct shows for theater venues in 2013. Hotel, La Cena de los Malditos, El Menor Espectáculo del Mundo, and La Vuelta a mi Mundo are her creations.
Some of the venues in which her plays had run are, New Apolo Theater, Circo Price, Principal Theater of Valencia, Principal Theater of Mallorca, Romea Theater, Rojas Theater, Bretón de los Herreros Theater, Alcobendas Auditorium, Bodevil Theater.
El País, El Mundo, ABC, TVE, Antena 3, Tele 5, Tele Madrid, SER, COPE and RNE, and many other media platforms have interviewed her and have written articles about her plays.
Her outstanding performance in the field of live entertainment has taken her to travel worldwide, working in USA, Mexico, Dominican Republic, UK, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam.
She opens a new path to her creative work in 2019, by publishing her first novel “Suicidas Erráticas” a coming of age novel.

BICENTENARY OF THE PRADO MUSEUM WITH LA FURA DELS BAUS
Teaser of the special performance Marta Gutierrez co-directs with Carlus Padrissa, La Fura dels Baus and Onion Lab, to commemorate the Bicentenary of the iconic Prado Museum in Madrid, November 2018. Aerial theater and 3D Mapping projection combined to celebrate one of the biggest events in the cultural world.
LA VUELTA A MI MUNDO
Teaser of the show "La Vuelta a mi Mundo" from TeaCro Circo, created, directed and produced by Marta Gutiérrez, premiered in June 2018 at Circus Theater Price in Madrid. "La Vuelta a mi Mundo" is a contemporary circus theater show, which combines circus, dance, 3D mapping, and technology, to tell the story of four archetypical and opposite characters.
THREE MAGIC KINGS PARADE
Madrid’s Council artistic department asks Marta Gutiérrez in 2017, to provide a unique show for this world-class parade, in Cibeles Square. She creates, produces and directs the show, thousands of people watch live and millions broadcasted. She also takes part in the biggest artistic production of the City in 2018 and 2019.
LA CENA DE LOS MALDITOS
La Cena de Los Malditos wrote and directed by Marta premieres at Bo Devil Theater in October 2014. The show is a theatrical experience which combines musical acts, circus acts, and theater, with a naughty cabaret ambiance.
EL MENOR ESPECTÁCULO DEL MUNDO
An artistic proposal that combines dramatic texts and circus numbers premiere in Madrid in October 2014. Co-production created with the Theater Circus Price in Madrid, in which Marta participates as Artistic Director, playwright and associate producer. The actress and singer Julia de Castro plays the main character of the show, Carmencita del Cobrete.
HOTEL
Hotel is produced, created & directed by Marta Gutiérrez and has thrilled thousands of people since its premiere in Madrid's New Apolo Theater in 2013 through all its run, until November 2015. Inspired by the atmosphere of the '40s to '50s New York's hotels and Hollywood's musical comedies. Performed by artists from Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Eloize and Moscow Circus.
